Numismatic Gaurantee

We curate highly collectable minted bars with an emphasis on small units that will trade better in an  economic crisis. While the major of bars will have an assay certificate there will be larger types that may not. You can be assured tho that smaller size bars (sub-100g) and certificates or assay cards will be shown in the product photography.

All of our gold bullion bars are 24-carat and therefore 99.99% pure gold. Bars typically have specifications stamped on them to show the manufacturer, purity of gold, weight, and serial number.

All of our brand-new bars come direct from LBMA-approved refiners such as Swiss refiners PAMP and VALCAMBI. These are all approved manufactures of "good delivery bars" by the London Bullion Market Association and have to meet very stringent quality control standards to achieve and retain this prestigious accreditation.

VALCAMBI was founded in 1961 as Valori & Cambi by a group of Swiss individuals. In 1967, the names merged and became Valcambi. Later that year, Credit Suisse bought 50% of Valcambi. Credit Suisse continued buying stakes in the business, until 1980 when Credit Suisse obtained 100% control of Valcambi highlighting the strength of the brand in private banking.

Since its founding, Valcambi has continually developed its manufacturing, being the first to develop and sell many bullion products:

• 1oz and 1kg minted gold investment bars in 1967
• 1-100 g round minted gold investment bars in 2005
• 0.5 g round minted gold investment bar in 2006

VALCAMBI also boasts several unique product innovations, such as:

• CombiBar 50g in gold and 100g in silver (2011)
• Armillary coins in gold (2015)

VALCAMBI has developed an Ethically Green Gold line. Green Gold refers to bullion where the whole supply chain from mining to refinement to eventual minting can be tracked with the ethical ordinance. Traceable gold is important so that our customers know that the product origins have not only fully documentation but there has been environmental stewardship, human fights and health safety of the labour force have been put  first. Green gold is handled in segregated refining centres so that casting, minted and semi-finished products are not tainted with non green gold.

PAMP has gone further in authentication with an app which you can verify the provenance of your bar through scanning the assay certificate code.

Since PAMP first started operating in 1977, it has continuously developed its manufacturing and security processes, many of which have become industry standard.

One security method is known as CertiPAMP. This is when a minted bar is sealed with an assay card. This prevents any tampering with the bar, and all the information needed to verify the bar is on the assay card, such as the bar’s serial number, weight and purity, and the assayer’s signature.

PAMP released another security system, known as VERISCAN in 2016. VERISCAN is a mobile application that can be downloaded and used to scan PAMP bullion and instantly verify whether a bar of bullion is legitimate.

Here are some more of PAMP’s innovations:

  • PAMP was the first refinery to decorate the reverse side of precious metal bars: The Lady Fortuna, PAMP's motif, has now become the most famous ingot motif in the world.
  • PAMP was the first to use hangers for pendants.
  • PAMP Suisse was the first to offer closed product packaging for small bars, which assists to safeguard the item inside and includes an appraised certification of authenticity, guaranteeing the item.
